Semi-detached houses averaged $1.09 million, up 0.1 per cent or $1,047 month-over-month but down 23 per cent or $324,096 year-over-year. There were 51 semi-detached house sales after an average of 14 days on the market and 53 active listings at the end of the month.
Attached houses averaged $1.18 million, up 7.6 per cent or $83,525 month-over-month but down 14.3 per cent or $197,476 year-over-year. There were 134 attached house sales after an average of 15 days on the market and 144 active listings at the end of the month.
Townhouse-style condos averaged $883,123, up 3.1 per cent or $26,844 month-over-month but down 13.6 per cent or $139,292 year-over-year. There were 52 townhouse-style condo sales after an average of 19 days on the market and 107 active listings at the end of the month.
Apartment-style condos averaged $676,580, up 1.2 per cent or $8,116 month-over-month but down 15 per cent or $119,103 year-over-year. There were 193 apartment-style condo sales after an average of 25 days on the market and 395 active listings at the end of the month.
Compared to February 2013, the average sale price for all houses and condos in York Region has increased 121.7 per cent, including a $961,433 gain for detached houses, a $615,900 gain for semi-detached houses, a $762,093 gain for attached houses, a $564,194 gain for townhouse-style condos and a $195,748 gain for apartment-style condos.
